Results of 11th National Design Competition
Congratulations to Nadhirah, Priscilla shih and Cheryl Ong from 3E4!
We won the BEST IN FASHION DESIGN in the secondary school category.

11th National Design Competition & Exhibition 2010
Dear art students,
the results for the 11th National Design Competition and Exhibition are out.
2 of our entries have been selected as finalist, please see below for more details:
You are required to attend an interview session with a panel of 4 judges from respective design industries on 23 July, Fri.
Venue: Conference Room, Bukit View Secondary School Regn : at least 15 minutes before each interview session
Interview slots are as follows:
Gan Jia Qi Eileen (Fashion - Shells) 3.53pm
Loy Keng Yun
Lim Shan Yu Dionne
Shih Yong Ling Priscilla (Fashion - Animals) 4pm
Ong Shen Sin Cheryl
Nadhirah Bte Said Nasir Talib
Each finalist (individual or team) is given a MAXIMUM of 3 MINUTES TO PRESENT his/her design. Either a MULTIMEDIA presentation or simply the submission boards may be used to complement the presentation. Q&A by judges will follow after the presentation for about 2 MINUTES.
Due to time constraints as we aim to finish by 6pm, we seek your understanding by ensuring that the finalists strictly follow the given schedule.
We also apologise in advance that there will be NO RE-SCHEDULING of interview as the judges are only able to attend on this allocated date. Finalists will therefore no longer be eligible to compete for any of the awards if they are unable to attend this interview session.
Please prepare your script and/or powerpoint presentation.

Announcement to 3E4 & 3E5 Art Students
Dear 3E4/3E5 Art Students,
please be informed that all the computer labs are fully booked during curriculum time.
Thus we will not be able to vectorised the logos as planned.
Plase bring your black sketchbook instead and we'll continue with our "Synergy" assignment.
The objective of this assignment is to conceptualise a design for a piece of linocut (a printmaking method). You can go to the links below to find out more on linocut and printmaking.
